Hi Laurie and Polly, I’m listening in from Australia but I’m from the UK. I was a child of the Madness generations. I remember seeing ‘Ind step beyond’ in Too of the Pops. I was in high school. Baggy trousers was a winner. Even our music teacher took it in to teach us to sing and play it for an assembly lol. So many stories to share with you lol.

Excellent stuff. Fyi, here is a reply from Chris about Peter Tosh... Dear Neill It’s hard to answer this without giving too much away. There was some confusion over the writer of the tune we had been “inspired” by [ripped off] for the music and someone thought Peter Tosh had written the original version, which was a long way from the truth, he had nothing to do with it.
